The French expression il fait un froid de canard (literally “it’s a duck cold”) is used to say that it’s very cold. 🥶
Just like ducks brave cold water, this expression describes really freezing temperatures! 🦆❄️

💬 Example:
You’re going for a walk with your brother and you advise him to dress warmly:
👉 “Dress warmly, it’s freezing cold!”
